USS Bowfin Submarine
Known as the “Pearl Harbor Avenger” because of 9 successful war patrols following the initial attacks, the submarine is now a floating museum and guests are able to walk through the sub with a guided headset tour, detailing its patrols and what it was like to live submerged beneath ocean waters for months at a time.

Touched water on July 23, 1942, First patrolled August 25th, 1943. On December 1, 1971 the submarine shipped back to Pearl Harbor where the Bowfin now serves as a memorial.

Action: The USS Bowfin Submarine saw 9 patrols, and sank 15 sea vessels, including the sinking of Tsushima Maru.
