USS Missouri Battleship, "Mighty Mo"
The Battleship Missouri, or “Mighty Mo”, is perhaps the best known, and most used ship in U.S. History. With an expert tour guide, walk the deck of the battleship, which fought in World War II and the Gulf War, marvel at its massive missile turrets, and take a self-guided exploration through the living quarters and command center of the great ship.

The Missouri was commissioned in June 1944, and was decommissioned on 31 March 1992.

Design & Register of Historic Places: The Missouri was one of the Iowa-class "fast battleship" designs planned in 1938. On Sep 2, 1945 the Missouri hosted the signing of the instrument of Japanese surrender that ended World War II.
