Description
In addition to our many Pearl Harbor tours, we would like to introduce you to a new excursion, the “Pearl Harbor War Memorials Tour.” This tour includes visits to the USS Arizona Visitors Center and Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine, Pacific Aviation Museum and much more. Roundtrip airfare is included from Kapalua, Maui and the tour begins upon pick up from the airport.
At the start of your tour, your guide will offer a powerful overview of the events that led to the Pearl Harbor attacks on December 7th, 1941. Then, once you arrive at Pearl Harbor, you will be ushered into the USS Arizona Visitor’s Center for a viewing of actual footage from the Pearl Harbor attacks. You will then travel on a US Navy shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. From the memorial, see the “black tears of the Arizona,” the shrine room, and more. Then, ride back to the Visitors Center, where your Arizona tour will finish off with visits to the WWII Museum and gift shop.
Take a short walk over to site of the USS Bowfin Submarine. Walk through the vessel’s narrow hallways, tight sleeping quarters, and galleys. Also on your tour, view torpedoes, missiles, and a quad gun (all at one time used by the US Military) scattered throughout the grounds at the Bowfin site.
Your last Pearl Harbor visit will be to the Pacific Aviation Museum. See some of the world’s historical aircrafts and learn about many top pilots.
Once you have finished your tours of the Pearl Harbor War Memorials, your guide will take you for a ride through historic Honolulu. See the King Kamehameha Statue, Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific, Iolani Palace and more. You will also pass by some locations significant to the early life of President Barack Obama.
Come along with Pearl Harbor Oahu from Kapalua, Maui and visit some of the top sites at Pearl Harbor as well as various locations in downtown Honolulu. We’ll take care of booking the airfare to make things even more convenient for you. You can’t come to Hawaii without visiting Oahu’s Pearl Harbor so let Pearl Harbor Oahu take you there.
Attention: As of January 26th, 2010, this tour selection will no longer be available. If you are traveling on or after this date, please consider our Tour 8KAP: Deluxe World War II Start to End Tour
