Pearl Harbor is one of the most historic locations in the United States and one of the distinct memorial destinations located on Oahu Island is Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and if you are planning to visit the iconic historical sites, then we can help you.

The first USS Arizona Memorial movie/boat program begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs every 15 minutes until 3 p.m. Each program lasts approximately 75 minutes. All Pearl Harbor Historic Sites are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year’s Day. With the help of a tour professional tour guide, you will hear a live narration of this unforgettable event on your way to Pearl Harbor.

When the Japanese Zero bombers flew over and sprung a sneak attack on an unsuspecting fleet of Navy ships of the USA. Nobody could fathom the massive bloodshed upon the waters of the harbor of pearls, which was the catalyst for the USA to enter World War II.

There is a free narrated boat tour of Pearl Harbor that passes alongside the sunken ship and a 23-minute documentary film prior to boarding. In remembrance of the attack and the crew who died, Honolulu architect Alfred Preis constructed a memorial on top of the sunken ship in 1962. Elvis once did a benefit show to raise $50,000 for the USS Arizona Memorial memorial fund.  The USS Arizona Memorial Park caretakers do a fine job of filtering guests, which average about 4500 daily, through the Memorial.

No purses, handbags, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, or other items that offer concealment are allowed in the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument. Parking at the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument is free, with lots located at the main entrance.
